The dates (1932-4) look exactly right, but imagine a large complex being built especially for Helena Rubinstein! She must have been a very special patron, I think, to ask the architect to include a cinema and artists' studios alongside the flats.<br /><br />Now I will go back to my old notes on Helena Rubinstein and rethink her involvement in the cultural world.
